Dual Core Tablet Considered a Package Deal

Pocketnow. com has exclusive information on ASUS’s newest device, the Padfone, an Android-powered tablet and an Android smartphone. It is intended to work as a dual device to offer a solution by providing a phone dock inside the tablet.

The Padfone is expected to run on Android, but whether it will feature Honeycomb features is not known. As of right now ASUS is the only company that is offering a device like this.

The phone will fit behind the 3.8- 4 inch touchscreen. The tablet is 10 inches and assumptions lead to the tablet featuring a 1GHz processor, which will help the tablet run smoothly.

The Padfone is the company’s attempt to create a product that will directly integrate a smartphone into a table. Pocketnow. com is considering the Padfone a package deal because it provides two separate devices.

The company, ASUS has made no further announcements about the product directly. There are many speculations about the device and Pocketnow. com has got its hands on very exclusive information on the product.

Images Pocketnow. com show that it looks like the tablet also features a set of stereos and may possibly feature an HDMI port.

For now, people will just have to wait till ASUS releases more information on the Padfone.
