- Download the update file CM-7.0.0-Spica-a1_update.zip (Size: 76 MB, Password: androidadvices.com). Due to heavy size, I recommend you to download it on your PC
- Now copy this .ZIP file into the SD card root directory of the phone
- Turn your device off and reboot it by pressing Volume Down key, make Call Button and the End Call button simultaneously to go into recovery mode
- From the list of options choose Apply ZIP from SD Card
- You will need to Wipe Data and Cache before continuing
- After update is done, reboot and check for the version. If will show the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
