Performance testing of the new MacBook Air

If you want to know how much it is worth upgrading to the new MacBook Air you know that they are actually faster and offer far superior performance. The following table provides the numerical results of the tests. Some of the tests that have been subjected are the songs encodings, compression and decompression of files zipped 2 GB, 2 GB duplicate folders, import text files, import video files, graphics-processor tests with Cinebench, video encoding with Handbrake, etc.. The best results are in red. Taken as a base model 11-inch and above compared to the current 11-inch MacBook , improved performance can be summarized as the current model is 2.4 times faster in Cinebench CPU test, 2.3 times more efficient with Handbrake, it needs half the time to convert AAC to MP3 and 46% faster to compress a folder of 2 GB, to mention some of the data. All this can be seen in both tables. The best results are in red. The 11-inch model does offer a much higher performance 11-inch MacBook Air from the previous generation, which is not so striking between the current 13-inch model compared with the 13-inch model of the previous generation. While improving performance, the new 13-inch model does not offer a performance as spectacular as expected.
