According to reports, A85 will be directed towards the high-end category of revolutionary smartphones.
Micromax A85 will showcase camera vigor of 8 megapixels, and will reportedly make its first public appearance in India at a tag value of around 15,000 to 18,000 INR.
Recently, Micromax launched Andro A70 and A60 handsets, based on Android 2.2 Froyo, in Indian market. These straightforward, rugged mobile phones generated fair amount of echo and, that's what inspired Micromax to step on the steam with devices oriented on Android technology. So, Miramax's intention of strengthening its foothold in high end mobile phone market makes sense.
Micromax SuperPhone A85 will offer a highly capacitive 3.7 to 4 inch display (480 x 800 pixels) with well-brought-up real estate to provide an enhanced mobile internet undertaking.
Under the hood, SuperPhone A85 will be hosting an over clocked dual-core processor dubbed "Nvidia Tegra T20" along with 512 MB RAM to clout "Gingerbread Android 2.3" OS.
Though it's nothing more than a nutshell of info available so far, the first Gingerbread smartphone from Micromax in India will be relying on a gesture powered technology for user navigation and control.
It will be using the front camera (VGA) for calling the shots, and for scrolling through the user menus.
