The first and the quick way which I prefer are to use Google. You can quickly find out the results right in front of you in your search engine. Consider the following example where I need to find the exchange rate of ‘convert 100 usd to Indian rupee’.
Did you notice that I have entered convert 100 usd to indian rupee and the results shows the exact amount in Indian rupees. The results will automatically take down the present exchange rate and it will automatically calculate the conversion query which you have entered in your Google search. Currency Conversion on Windows PC
If you are on Windows 7 then there is one good option that Microsoft has included in the latest OS. It’s using the currency conversion gadget which can be available on your desktop if you use it very frequently.
To get started you need to enter ‘currency’ in the search box on the Start Menu –
Then select the option “Add gadget to the desktop”.This will open the Microsoft Window gadgets gallery. This gadget gallery includes various gadget which can be added from calendar, clock, CPU meter, picture puzzle, slide show or weather. Click on Currency and a popup will appear on the Windows desktop.
So from here it’s pretty clear, this popup is very small in size. Rarely I recognized it due to its color.
When you mouse over the gadget you get a tiny pop up on the right which has two options to X to close it and other open is to make the gadget a bit larger and easier for the work.
With the gadget you have two option of different currency. If you want to change the currencies then you need to click on the small triangles. By default the currency conversion would be showing USD to EUR and if I want to convert 100 usd to Indian rupee’ then I need to change the currency as India Rupees.So finally I am done with the conversion
And also on your mobile phone you can find various apps meant for the purpose. On Android or iPhone we have apps everywhere.
