Yesterday I was looking for the easiest way in which I can easily convert to my local currency for the payment of $ 146 which I has received. Until now I used to directly go to Xe.com an online tool meant for currency conversion and provide the respective currencies. Here in the post I explain various ways by which you can find the currency conversion tool online.

The first and the quick way which I prefer are to use Google. You can quickly find out the results right in front of you in your search engine. Consider the following example where I need to find the exchange rate of ‘convert 100 usd to Indian rupee’.

The results will automatically take down the present exchange rate and it will automatically calculate the conversion query which you have entered in your Google search. There various sites meant for currency conversions you can perform your task easily. I can tell you that you can find more than 50 of such sites meant for currency conversion. The one which I would personally like to advise you is Xe.com.

If you are on Windows 7 then there is one good option that Microsoft has included in the latest OS. It’s using the currency conversion gadget which can be available on your desktop if you use it very frequently.
To get started you need to enter ‘currency’ in the search box on the Start Menu – Windows Currency Conversion ToolThen select the option “Add gadget to the desktop”.
This will open the Microsoft Window gadgets gallery. This gadget gallery includes various gadget which can be added from calendar, clock, CPU meter, picture puzzle, slide show or weather.
