A trojan virus is a malicious file that enters a computer by hiding in another file or is downloaded via cookies from visiting websites that host them. Trojans may go undetected for long periods of time but may be secretly performing a number of tasks, such as recording the user’s activities and personal information, deleting or renaming essential computer files, or restricting the user’s firewall in order to allow other viruses to attack the user’s computer. What Is Antivirus Software

Spyware Terminator is a free antivirus software that can perform both quick and full scans of the user’s computer and includes an extensive database that can be updated at any time. Spyware Terminator also includes a real-time shield that prevents viruses and other malicious files from performing actions on the user’s computer and a browser-based shield known as “ClamAV”. Spyware Terminator is relatively fast and extremely powerful, but may display security notifications too often, depending on the settings.
Malwarebytes’ Antimalware
Malwarebytes’ Antimalware is another free antivirus software that is capable of detecting and removing a wide variety of malicious programs. While Malwarebytes’ Antimalware does not include a real-time shield, it is much faster than Spyware Terminator and can detect many more viruses.
Advanced SystemCare
Although Spyware Terminator and Malwarebytes’ Antimalware are both powerful antivirus programs, Advanced SystemCare is, by far, the best. Advanced SystemCare includes a real-time shield to prevent malicious programs from running, an antivirus scanner that is extremely fast and very thorough, a registry cleaner that removes errors found in the Windows Registry, and a defragmenter that allows a user to take advantage of the maximum amount of memory usage his/her computer has to offer. Additionally, Advanced SystemCare allows users to erase their Internet history, temporary Internet files, cookies, cached webpages, and saved form data, as well as delete the contents of the user’s Recycle Bin.
