Facebook Dislike Button Scam Spreading Fast

There’s a new Facebook scam that’s circulating pretty quickly around the popular social networking site. The bogus offer lures users in with a link that says it will allow you to “Enable Dislike Button”.
The scam was first detected over the weekend when messages offering a dislike button began emerging on Facebook users’ walls.
The message reads: “Facebook now has a dislike button! Click ‘Enable Dislike Button’ to turn on the new feature.”
It seems that the hackers behind the scam managed to work around Facebook’s security measures and replace the standard “Share” button with a link that says “Enable Dislike Button”, thus making it look more legit.
Upon clicking the “Enable Dislike” link, users will then see a Facebook application that requests them to follow certain steps, allegedly to enable the phony “dislike” button. The instructions include copying and pasting JavaScript in their browsers, which immediately spams the fake “dislike” feature scam to everyone on their friends’ list by posting it to their walls.
So far, the “Enable Dislike Button” scheme just seems to be a money-making ploy as it seems to pay its creators per click or per view.
Still, be wary of it and steer clear!
