Kickstarter has posted a video which shows that David Sosnow, Head of Product Development Kogeto, the New York City-based company behind this project has managed to raise nearly $40,000 over one month ahead of schedule. Well, The company has requested $20,000 to develop the hardware. You can easily attach this camera extension to your iPhone. You will be able to record 360º video after placing it in a convenient location.
This accessory consists of a lens that will place over the camera and a rubber dock to keep it secured. You should note that your iPhone should be used face down, in a way that the camera is facing up. After connecting the lens you can use your iPhone camera to record video. The company will provide you an app using which you can turn the donut-shaped raw video into a 360º panorama.
